After renovation and improvement, the Taksim St. Resurrection Church has reopened in Constantinople

During the reopening and reconsecration ceremony, the clergy, led by Patriarch Sahak, performed a door-opening ceremony in front of the church entrance. After the nave-consecration prayers, His Holiness Sahak anointed the church's high altar with holy myron. The baptismal font, the platform, and the altar of the chapel of the Holy Mother of God were anointed by Archbishop Aram Ateshyan. The church was founded in the early 19th century.
