Catholicos of All Armenians congratulates newly elected Pope Leo XIV

His Holiness wished that the Pope of Rome would lead the Catholic Church with truth and mercy and would constantly bear witness to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in the present world, which is in need of peace, justice and spiritual renewal. The Catholicos of All Armenians noted that the strong bond of Christian love and relations between the two churches have been strengthened in recent decades thanks to mutual respect, fraternal meetings and due to general evidence.
