A khachkar was consecrated at the Holy Etchmiadzin Church in Tbilisi on the feast of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God

A khachkar consecration ceremony was held in the courtyard of the Holy Etchmiadzin Church by the Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia, Bishop Ter Kirakos. The khachkar depicting the commander Saint Sarkis is dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the founding of the Holy Etchmiadzin Church. The church was built in 1805, in the busiest part of Havlabar. The sanctuary is under the care and maintenance of the residents, as evidenced by the improvement works carried out in different years.
