His Holiness noted that the anniversary of Artsakh's independence is a memorable occasion to express the devotion of our people to the idea of peace, to shake off the moods of adaptation and defeatism in order to overcome the challenges and trials facing our country with dignity.
He called for multiplying efforts to protect the rights of the people displaced from Artsakh, with the support of the international community, to save the centuries-old Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage from destruction, and to return our captive children to their homeland.
