On September 26, marking the Feast of Saint Gevorg the Warrior, a festive Divine Liturgy was celebrated and the pilgrimage day was observed at the 7th-century St. Gevorg Church in the village of Garnahovit, Aragatsotn Province.
The Liturgy for the feast of the saint—known for granting the prayers of the faithful—was celebrated by Fr. Mkhitar Aharonyan, spiritual pastor of the Tegher parish; in his sermon, he emphasized the enduring message of Saint Gevorg’s unwavering courage, dedication, and defense of the homeland.
