Crisis of European Thought

The guest of an exclusive release of Third Millennium is Karen Swassjan, philosopher, historian of culture, winner of Alexander von Humboldt Award. Karen Swassjan lives in Switzerland, delivers public lectures all across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and France. In 2009, his book “A Man in the Maze of Identities” won the first prize in an essay competition organized by the Institute of Philosophy of the Russian Academy of Science.

In our pavilion, Karen Swassjan talks about the crisis of values in modern Europe, the crisis of a man, developingas democracy, human rights and freedom indisguise.
