On October 12, the Divine Liturgy offered in the Mother See, the Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II was accompanied by Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. The leaders of sister churches prayed for establishing peace in the Middle East.
The same day, Karekin II Catholicos received the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic paying an official visit to Armenia.
