With the support of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, six soldiers wounded in the 44-day war left for the Holy Land.

The Armenian Apostolic St. Harutyun Church in Seattle hosted the 5th annual Armenian festival. Among the honored guests of the festival was Adam Smith, the chairman of the committee on the affairs of the armed forces of the House of Representatives of the US Congress.
