Trbanjian has made a great contribution to the renovation of the Mother See and other church-building programs. The Trbanjian Seminary of Harichavank is today one of the most important links in the upbringing and education of clergy, for whose development and normal functioning the benefactor spared no effort and energy. However, in 1995 he founded the Trbanjian Center for Policy Analysis at the American University, which this year was reorganized as the Trbanjian Institute of Social Sciences.
