Writer, literature and reality

Why does the society reflect such a morbid and fervent response to anything related to the Writers’ Union, why does the modern literature become object of irony, why are the discussions of literature-related issues replaced by mostly “near-literature” ones? Who is to blame for this, the writer or the reality? Hayk Hambardzumyan spoke about these issues with the Chairman of Writers’ Union Edward Militonyan.
