Opera in Rabis Environment. Guest: Barsegh Tumanyan

Can opera and classical expressions of art survive in the conditiօns of rabis and provinciality? What is the role, mission and functions of classical art at present days? Does the artist wish or should he fight for the values he holds to stay viable, or he must humbly wait for a more faborable time period when his creations will be perceived better?
