Bagrat Asatryan

Economist Bagrat Asatryan thinks that if the migration goes on with the same rate, then within a very short time the country will face serious threats. One of the consequences of the migration is e.g non-viability of villages. According to the 2012 data, birth rate in villages was lower than in the capital. In terms of birth rates, Syunik Marz is in the most infavorable conditions, followed by Tavush and Vayots Dzor Marzes.
The economist thinks the reasons for migration include lower social security, lack of justice and morals.
