The Unknown Teryan

The image of Vahan Teryan rises from memories, text-books and poems as emotional, hectic poet, who was at the same time a devoted political figure and finds his end while on important mission. However, how much did the entire image of Teryan compy with this picture of him so widely common in Soviet era, for what purpose and reasons was Teryan presented in this likeness?
