First home blessing ceremony at the Catholicosate

This evening, the good news of the Holy Nativity of Jesus Christ was announced in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and all Armenian Apostolic Churches. Under the guidance of the Catholicos Karekin II, the procession of the clergy from the Holy Etchmiadzin headed to the Catholicosat. Here the first home blessing ceremony was offered; the seat of the Catholicos, the bread, the salt and the water were blessed.
