On December 28, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Catholicos of All Armenians was hosted by the Primate of the Diocese of Armavir, Archbishop Sion Adamyan, Armavir state officials and others. His Eminence Archbishop Sion Adamyan was elevated to the rank of Archbishop by the Pontifical Encyclical.
