On October 28, in the assembly hall of the Catholicos' residence, chaired by His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Council was convened in an expanded format. Conveying patriarchal blessings to the members of the Assembly, His Holiness expressed hope that effective discussions would take place on the issues of concern to the Armenian Church and the people.
