The "Hovnanian" school operates in the US state of New Jersey. It has about 140 students. It has been operating since 1976 and is the only daily Armenian school in the state. In addition to the American school curriculum, students study Armenian, Armenian history, and get acquainted with Armenian culture. The graduating class visits Armenia every year. His Holiness highly appreciated the efforts of educators, parents, and trustees in the important task of preserving identity.
