On Thursday evening, the Son of God is arrested by betrayal, subjected to torture, humiliation, and then sentenced to death. The ceremony of the Eclipse and Sorrow in the churches lasts until midnight. 12 candles are lit on the Holy Altar, they are the symbols of the apostles, in the center is the large candle symbolizing Christ, because the light that liberates from the darkness of the Night of the Eclipse is Christ.
