Today, St. Shoghakat Monastery of Etchmiadzin was full of believers. It’s been several years now that Sangibaran Gospel or the 400 year’s old Gospel of John the Forerunner is moved from MashtotsMatenadaran for only one day. It came to Armenia with the efforts of believers migrating from Armenian Sangibaran village of Peria province, Persia and is kept in Matenadaran since 1972.
