Supreme Spiritual Council convened a meeting at the Mother See

From February 16-18, Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians presided over an extended meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. The agenda included discussion of canonical, statutory-legal, national and public, diocesan and communal, church building and disciplinary issues. Archbishop Aram Ateshian, Vicar General of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, along with His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Barsamian and His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian; served as the co-Chairmen of the meeting. The Supreme Spiritual Council made a decision to convene a National Ecclesiastical Meeting in 2017.
