Priestly ordination of seven pilgrims took place at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

After the end of the Saturday Evening Service, the priestly ordination ceremony took place. In the Mother Monastery, in the presence of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin, a public examination of the Orthodox faith of the newly ordained was held. The ordained unanimously rejected and cursed heretics and schismatics, and vowed to follow the faith and teachings of the holy apostles, Armenian patriarchs and archimandrites. During the Sunday liturgy, with the blessing of the Catholicos of All Armenians, the priestly ordination of seven covenanters was performed in the Mother Cathedral.
